Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino is located in the small town of Salamanca, New York, sitting at the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. It is owned by the Seneca Nation of Indians through its holding company, Seneca Territory Gaming Corp.

This place is perfect for you and your significant other or a couple of close buddies to get away and gamble for a night. Systems were being updated, making the check in time much longer than ever before. However, the line moved as quickly as the front clerks could move it and water was given to anyone waiting. The rooms, employees are always friendly and helpful. The main casino floor could use more options for food and/or drink, in terms of a small concession. We were unable to use our comp on our player’s cards for food, this was an inconvenience, as we save our comp for our overnight stays. This was also due to an updating system – or so we were told.

It was so tender I probably could have cut it with my spoon. The only negatives I could find is there is no sauna in the pool area and my bed was a little firm . I would recommend anyone traveling to western New York to stay here, I will definitely be coming back. From a gaming point of perspective, both places are great because they both have slot machines, table games and of course poker tables. There are weekly, seasonal and occasional poker tournaments but it will be best to check their dates when the time for your holiday is closing in.
The gal on the line knew every answer to every question I had without looking anything up! She also told me I had 2 complimentary night’s stays available which I did not know about. Tables were run well, reasonable minimums, and staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional.
